A Few Questions

When is the last time someone asked you to give up everything you had to do something? When is the last time that you actually did drop all that you had to do something or follow someone?

Now take these questions and rely them to your faith. When you accepted Jesus in your life did you give up everything you had to follow him, or did you just make Jesus fit your life? Do you follow what God has to say or do you just follow what God says when it fits what you want? Now, are you willing to drop everything you have to follow Jesus right now at this very moment. If Jesus said drop your job, family, and house to follow Him would you? If you answer no, then why? Are you to comfortable where your life is right now to care what Jesus has to tell you?

Just take some time to go over the questions, and see where your life falls.

The Mind

The mind is a strong and powerful thing. Something that contains so much, but doesn't show it half of what it can do. The mind has so much potential, but doesn't use it. And yet, our minds meld us to who we are. Or is it the other way around? Do we actually meld our minds by are actions and words?

Well if you speak something then that thing will come to pass. The melding of the mind is a lifelong process that never stops. Ever wonder why you change throughout the years? Well this is because your mind has melded to a new state. But you have to be careful what you let your mind change to. Your mind can play tricks on you. Some people even say that our worst enemy is our own mind.

Why you might ask.

With all the potential that our minds have we frequently will over think or under think situations that come our way. Because of this your mind can lead you into some serious trouble. This includes a change of focus, a loss of interest in things, a loss of energy so that you are always tired, and can even go as far as thoughts to kill yourself. These thoughts occur at different times in your life based on what changes your mind has gone through.

So what do we have to do to make sure our mind doesn't change to this bad state?

If you speak against your mind of these terrible things then they will not come to pass. Yet, remember that you might have to say it more than once. Sometimes you have to constantly say to yourself “Lord get these thoughts out of my head as they are not of you" for these thoughts to completely go away.

Also make sure that if you say something, then take action on what you said (unless what you speak will end up bringing pain to yourself). If you speak something do what you said you were going to do. If you don't, you might disappoint someone, or even disappoint yourself.

Also remember this about Random Thoughts.

Random things that pop-up in your mind. Set a control of what you let come out, and actually ponder about. We need not let certain thoughts come fully develop as those thoughts can cause corruption. Corruption is something that must be avoided at all costs. Putting a watch over your thoughts is something that you have to do in your everyday lives, or you might regret what you said to someone. Don't be one of those people, focus and pay attention before you say something, or just pay attention to what you think about. Your thoughts can end up controlling how you act. Let you thoughts be pure, then your actions will be pure, and your life will slowly turn to being pure.

The Wind

The wind has been blowing. It has seemed like this wind has been blocking you from reaching your true goal. You fight and fight against the wind until you have no more energy. You give all that you are trying to push against this wind. You finally get to a point were you think that you have almost reached your goal, but the wind gets stronger. You give up and just sit down because what else can you do. Well there is one thing that you have been missing this whole time. You need to take your wings and let the wind take you where you are supposed to go. Stop fighting to get something that was never meant for you to have. Stop putting your energy into something without a reward. Take up your wings and fly away.Fly to the depths that God has intended for you. Reach the unattainable height you never thought possible. Now you are not fighting alone because you have the best back-up ever know. God. So fly, and let God's wind take you to the right place.

Getting Back to Why I Created this Blog in the First Place

Looking back it has been too long since I posted something on here in which was suppose to be on here. This blog was not meant to say how I am doing and such, so those post have now been deleted. This blog was always just meant to be about things that God has given me that I want to give you.

So, time to get back to the basics:

Time

Time is something that has been flying at the speed of light for ages now. Never knowing when it will slow down or speed up. Time just keeps flying by as if you were watching a high speed train go by.

Just like time, your life seems to be on this high speed train that just speeds up without an end. Yet, everything seems to be just fine since the track is completely straight. But, what happens when the high speed train of your life gets to a corner? The train is going to fast for the corner and the train derails. Now time seems to be lost and everything around starts to crumble. Then you want time to reverse itself so that you can slow the train down before the turn. But is that the real solution to the situation that you are in? No. You need to get on new tracks that will take your life in a different direction. One that time will speed up when needed and slow down when needed. Its time to get on the tracks that God has set for you, and get God be the conductor so that your life doesn't derail.

Let God be the One where most of your time goes. Stop sitting in front of the TV all day or watch videos on Youtube, or do other events that are meaningless and get into God's word. Spend your time in a way that will be beneficial to you, not just entertain you.

A Loss

Nothing can really prepare someone for a loss of a person. Even if the person was not that close as other friends you know, there is still pain as you knew such person.

Everyone always asks the same questions:

What do I do now?

Why does this has to happen to them?

Why can’t things like this be stopped?

Can I even go on?

All I can say is that a loss is a very emotional event that can happen. These question can only be answered by God. So in the grieving for the one gone ask God your question, and listen for the answer. That is what you have to do.

"be strong and courageous. do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go" --Joshua 1:9

Strength

Staying strong and not letting things get to you no matter what happens is a hard task, but not impossible. Staying Strong no matter what people say or what they think or even what they do to you, is also a hard task, but not impossible. Be strong through thick and thin even when everyone has abandoned you because not everyone has. God hasn't and never will. God is your way to beat the problems. Just remember that you are never alone, even if you feel like it. God is always with you, and will never leave you because you are his son/daughter. So stay strong.... you can do it!!!

Let the Joy of the Lord be your strength, lifting you high above your fears.

Right Way

"Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."
(Matthew 7:13-14)

So what are you going to chose?
